MITS is web based portal system aimed towards increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations in municipalities. The program provides for better e-governance by enabling the municipality to serve its citizens in a timely and quick manner.

The portal provides information to general public and also automates processes of various departments. It ensures computerizing the functioning of some of its departments, generates customized reports, quick data access and increases the overall efficiency.

MITS covers various departments that include Health, Revenue, Education, Infrastructure, Agriculture, Civil Registry, Accounting, Treasury and Human Resource Management. More departments can be included as required and the product customized to address specific needs of municipalities. The application includes Content Management System.
